Precipitated Silica – Anti Caking Technical Grade
Our company is also involved with the making of Precipitated Silica, which is the amorphous form of Silica (Silicon dioxide SiO2). Precipitated Silica has the appearance of crystalline white powdery material, but its form and appearance can be manipulated during the manufacturing process to suit the different purposes for its application. The Silicate salts are turned into the precipitated Silica through agitation, precipitation, the addition of reactants over a specific temperature and concentration. Adjusting the rate of agitation, duration of precipitation, rate of addition of reactants, and the temperature level and concentration can help yield different forms of Silica, which may be required for the operations of the different clients that we serve.
Our precipitated Silica has the following uses and applications:-
- Reinforcing the bonds and strengthening the thickening agent of natural and synthetic Rubber-Based Adhesives.
- The improvement of the durability and resilience of Footwear mainly by enhancing the shoe soles resistance to wear and tear.
- Precipitated Silica has a small particle size and a complex aggregate structure, features which help improve the tear strength of Conveyor Belts. Our products help improve the tensile strength of the belts, enhances their durability while also imparting their abrasion resistance.
- Improving pigment dispersion, serving as a parting agent, deployed as an absorbent, and acts as a reinforcing agent on the PVC Sheets.
- It is used on Railway Padsto increase abrasion resistance and provide increased durability and resilience.
- Provides resistance to heat ageing, reduces crape hardening and provides the resilience and compression set for the Silicon Tubes.
- Improves and reinforces the Silica used on Aprons and Textile Coats.
